Pajamas or Pyjamas are a form of casual wear. Pyjamas are usually two-piece garments but may be one-piece garments. The word "pajama" came by the way of the Hindi word pajama, originally from the Persian language Payjama meaning "leg garment". Pyjamas are often used as a night wear and as well as traditional designer wear. Pyjamas worn by both men and women and also by kids.
Pajamas are usually loose fitting and designed for comfort, using softer materials such as cotton or the more luxurious silk or satin. Synthetic materials such as polyester and Lycra are also available. They are often worn with bare feet but sometimes with socks. Pyjamas are available for fabrics like, silk, polysilk and cotton.
